Open enrollment for Part B Medicare is now until December 7.
After that date you will be penalized for late enrollment.

That is for people 65 and over or if you want to change providers. New
enrollment can be done three months before your 65th birthday and 3
months after.

From medicare.gov:
For example, if you're eligible for Medicare when you turn 65, you can
sign up during the 7-month period that:
Begins 3 months before the month you turn 65
Includes the month you turn 65
Ends 3 months after the month you turn 65

He is eligible soon, but is not bound by the December 7 date. That is
only for people already enrolled that may want to change plans.

I've seen that on many commercials lately.
Those insurance companies want your money.
Seems that the "change of plans" is from
Oct 15 to Dec 7 each year.

However, I'm still too young for that.
And OH MAN did I ever love being able to say that! lol

It's been forever since I could honestly say that I was
too YOUNG for something. This will probably be the last
time. It's all downhill from here. oh well

I thought he turned 65 at least 6 months ago. Seems to me he mentioned
it and I joked about him getting that letter from the White House about
being in his 100's...
