Default What's in prefab food

This is just a warning to sheeple and mouth breathers that you should
not click the following link about prefab foods:

<http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5006777/What-s-really-food-marg-s-65-water.html>

I don't know why the censor has let this story full of inconvenient
truths pass. Very, very offensive information.

That explains why I don't like ketchup: 22.8% sugar!

Hi Angie. I rarely eat cold breakfast cereal but occasionally do.
My favorites are Wheaties and Rice Chex. Pour on some ice cold
milk and sprinkle heavily with sugar. Probably 40% sugar to a
bowl. heheh

Nothing wrong with sugar. Just keep the daily count down.

All "yawn" info imo. I did look at all and nothing I didn't know
about. Life's too short to analyze and worry about food. Just
space it out so you don't constantly eat bad things. We are all
spiraling down towards the inevitable death anyway. Might as well
enjoy your last few years. No worries.

Main thing, imo, is to not fret over stupid things and keep
active.

Why would you space out eating bad things?

The fact that we're all going to die is no reason to buy crap.

So when you buy a car, you don't fret. You just buy a bad one because
we're all going to die anyway. Strange logic but good luck.

So a car is as ubiquitous as food in your pinhead?

One day it will be possible to eat a cube of substance that will have everything that is needed to sustain life. No cooking or prep work will be required and it's going to be dirt cheap. I don't mind that future at all.

Today we had some Sweet Onion Hot Shoyu Ahi Poke. Damn good stuff.

Today we have the ability to pick and choose. People in the future won't have that luxury. That's the breaks.

Rocky has the ability of time travel. He went to the future and had a
look for us. And it wasn't pretty, was it, Rocky?

Maybe people in the present should stop having so damn many children,
and people in the future will have the ability to pick and choose.

I've done my part to curb population growth.

I'd rather make pizza. I used my daughter's mixer to make the dough. Wonderful invention, that one.

I'd rather make pizza. I used my daughter's mixer to make the dough.
Wonderful invention, that one.

I chopped up some feta and used it on top. As far as that goes, it's probably better on a salad.

I like that but my shift would be canned mushrooms. I know, but it's a
texture thing and i prefer canned on a pizza.

Canned mushrooms?
Just sautee some fresh sliced in a nip of butter
then add to your pizza.

Lunch today...two steak and cheese sandwiches with mushrooms and
onion. Lipton chicken noodle soup made with 3 cups homemade
chicken broth (rather than 4 cups water). Maybe some home fries?
Haven't decided yet but that sounds good to complete the meal.

After all that, I'll probably just skip dinner and have a snack
later tonight.

Homemade vegetable soup and something resembling a grilled cheese
sandwich. Might just be cheese melted onto bread in the toaster
oven; might be an actual grilled cheese.

We're looking at sushi tonight. We do much better with three
moderately sized meals per day (pretty equally spaced at 6am/noon/6pm
rather than feast or famine).

I like simple grilled cheese - cheese on white bread, buttered
and fried. Add just a thin slice of tomato (+ S&P) to that though
and it's so much better.

Naw, there is a texture difference in the canned vs. fresh cooked.

BTW, that's a mighty big lunch unless doing a hard labor type job (or
making extras for next day or dinner).

Personally, making pulled pork in the crockpot. Will be some 12-14
servings off it.
