Additionally it's directed at almost ALL who post here, save for "safe harbor O"... > The list goes on. If you can't see that difference, there's something > really wrong with you. Careful Bwuthie, you're fast approaching the safe harbor fail safe point.... |

That is why they make locked garages and sheds. Please, it'd be easy to have a padlocked door on the side of that space. However locks only keep honest people out. Where I live I don't lock anything, the doors to my house are always unlocked, my barns are not only unlocked their huge doors are usually wide open... the worst that happens is occasionally a few Canada geese wander into the barn and leave me presents, they never take anything, they hae no pockets. An endless parade of critters here leave me presents but they never take anything that they can't eat. I don't care that critters poop here, free organic fertilizer. The worst crime that occurs here is critters trespassing and pooping. That's why I've learned to wear LL Bean boots, easy to hose off and leave at the door. I've even learned to share my space with skunks... they leave presents I'd rather not have but still they never take anything they can't eat. I really ddon 't mind the skunks, they are gorgeous critters, especially the albinos, all snow white, like ghosts prowling for food at night. |

Yeah it looks kinda awkwards at the end. Oh well! I'm not a masonry architect! > >John Kuthe... Here's a tip for next time you employ tradesmen; You're paying them to use their skills to produce a result that's a credit to the property, its owner, and the tradesman. If the inexperienced owner makes a request that will look bad or won't work, a professional, competent contractor should explain a better way to do it. Because he knows a badly finished/ugly job is a terrible advert for his business. When a tradesman leaves a bodge like that brickwork on full public view, he's not just disrespecting the contract and the employer. He's flagging up a dire warning about his poor standard of workmanship throughout, especially the parts you can't see. Janet UK |

Oddly enough, being trash-talked on Usenet is nothing to me. It's quite a bit different in person. Probably something to do with the way my brain processes the written word. I can't say I've never had my feelings hurt online, but it's much milder than if I'd heard those words face to face. Cindy Hamilton |
