But Foolsbook is?

And the FB bullying suicides were not "real life"?

Really?

For being an antisocial snark machine.

And yeah, I'd give him a warning and then drop him like a sack of
taters, really.

> At any rate, we will agree to disagree and leave it at that,

Of course.

But this isn't "real life" so when I propose various remedies there's
nothing to stress over, yes?

I mean posting his home addy. and phone # here would just be lark, a
virtual "so what", yes?

I mean no one in Auztardia would possibly take him to meat space for a
real smackdown, would they?

==

This may not be real life, but it is bloody unpleasant reading and not what
I for one, came here for.

It's interesting to see that you're so sensitive to bullying yet so
chummy with the one and only big bully in this group. As long as it
doesn't affect you, right? D o u b l e s t a n d a r d s.

If you are suggesting I am chummy with Casa, you are off your bloody

Nope, all I asked you to do was revoke safe troll harbor status.

Not directly of course.

I know.

You mean respond unilaterally to a single aspect of yours I find lacking?

Wouldn't that be akin to tossing the baby out with the bath water?

Well Bwuthie treats you as some aspect of Godwin's law:

"We've been through this. You'd be chummy with Hitler if he greeted you
nicely."

Which I find most unacceptable and unevolved.

I, otoh, merely ask you to consider the indirect consequences of
enabling his safe harbor here.

I submit that's a broad difference in treatment, ymmv...

Admittedly as the dominant "big bully" here (sorry Sqwerty, your mantle
has been passed on) you are the recipient of a whopping great "double
standard"...

Best not alienate that gift, eh?

But being subjected to a blatant Hitler/troll accusation is?

"We've been through this. You'd be chummy with Hitler if he greeted you
nicely."

You've an unusually high tolerance for unwarranted personal snark if
that sort of thing passes muster.

Well I am happy to see she felt bullied, she never did explain to me
what made her turn on me after posing as a friend.

Their parents should have kept a closer eye on them. Dereliction of duty.

Parents can't be at school or in their rooms 24/7.

The cyberverse has sadly become ubiquitous at a far too early age.

LOL!

Anyways, there are only 2 'regulars' in my KF. One is a racist asshole
and the other is a timesuck wasting person with no useful conversation.
I leave it to the rest to figure our who's who in that zoo-pen.

I am thankful I do not have young kids today, I think it is almost an
impossible task, not dereliction of duty by parents. Even if you
checked their phones nightly you might never pick up on the bullying.
Many of the kids (who killed themselves) did talk to their parents but
there wasn't much the parents could do anyway. Take the phone away?
That would then make that kid an even bigger target.

Tell me how their duty should have worked, I was a strict parent, but
I can't see how I would have coped with this.

Really? All I knew was suddenly I was persona non grata and I had not
said anything nasty to or about her. I have made many online friends
over the years, but none that did that!

Of course. Then they can no longer see any distressing messages.

> That would then make that kid an even bigger target.

A kid with no phone ceases to be an FB target. A bully with no phone
is silenced on social media.

> Tell me how their duty should have worked, I was a strict parent, but

Same as with physical bullying; the kid knows who's doing it and needs
to tell the parent who then needs to deal with it on their behalf (via
the school, police, the other kids parents).

No, I have noticed the shenkburger posts, it's not like that at all.

All I know is I considered Ophelia a friend and then, all of a sudden,
she is putting me down and I had never said a word to or about her
online. I assume she misread posts and attributed something to me,
but then again, she has never had the guts to admit it.
