I think it looks very good. I could take a pic of 2 deviled eggs and a
salad, but it would be extremely boring. DH had left over meat loaf, Stove
Top Stuffing, and peas.

I don't think pictures of your deviled eggs n' salad plus hubby's meat
loaf stuffing and peas would be boring to all rfc's fast food face
stuffers.

Homemade pizza, tossed salad. I can't show you because we don't
take pictures of our food.

Agree. Once my food is cooked and hot, I don't care to do a
photoshoot. Besides, my digital camera is old and sucks plus, I
don't plate my food to impress anyone. It's for me.

Last night, I had 'breakfast for dinner'. One microwaved potato,
3 eggs over easy and 2 slices of rye bread. One half slice with
the last of my orange marmalade. yum. Have to buy more.

No need for a pic. I did make and eat it. If you don't believe
that, too bad.

If I had all that for breakfast, I'd need 2 hours to recover before I
could start working.

I've done that at holidays only for years - mainly to catch who showed
up at the table though.

I miss some of the Euro guys who used to post good pics here - gerardus,
bonvivant shutterfly, etc.

This group is faltering under the load of trolls.

Thank you. Top round roast is nothing fancy but we prefer it to the
typical fatty flavorless beef roasts... roasted partly frozen at
325ºF til internal temperature indicates your preferred doneness
results in some very tender beef. The star of the show are those home
grown veggies, especially those just picked sprouts. Many yers ago I
had a Puerto Rican girlfriend, she was an excellent cook, she advised
me to season roasts prior to freezing and then thaw only halfway
before cooking and to use a low temperature... turns out very moist
and tender.

You got some good advice.

Lately I've seen ATK promoting a similar regime even for steaks.

Apparently it really works.

You brainless ****, obviously after slicing it was placed into a
storage container for the fridge. Even a ten year old who has never
cooked could figure that out... you on the other hand have never
cooked anything, which you have just proven, for the umpteenth time.

Lots of people here buy the troll's act and talk to him as if he's not
criminally insane. I've had to adjust my opinion about the average
intelligence in this ng. The biggest enablers are Cheri and dsi1.

True, it wasn't "coked".

Looks like a good meal. I roasted an acorn (not butternut) squash.
Nope, I won't take pictures just to prove I did.

I believe you because often you do post pictures, I often forget to
take pictures myself. It's those loudmouths who NEVER post a picture
who I don't believe.
I like acorn squash too only of late there seems to be a problem
around here growing them, for two years they've been rotting on the
vine... last spring I couldn't find acorn squash seeds at the local
stores. The local produce departments don't have acorn squash either.
What did you have with your acorn squash?

Not everyone has a camera.

That's odd.

Believe it or not, all I ate was the acorn squash.

I have a camera. But I don't care what Sheldon thinks. I don't plate
food for photography. Last night we had salad, steak, and boiled new
potatoes. Salad in a salad bowl, steak on a small plate, potatoes
mashed up with a fork in a small bowl. My OCD was flying high on
that one.

Most folks have cell phones and most cell phones have cameras.... or
nowadays one can buy a decent digicam for under fifty buck.

LAME, LAME, LAME... what a lame excuse... I'm positive more often than
not you must prepare a more photogenic meal... I don't post pictures
of my quickie snacks either, in fact I only occasionally photograph a
dish, onlythose I feel is worthy of sharing, only those I describe
here. and claimed I prepared. I also prepare a lot of things (most
things) that are not worthy to share or even mention. However when
someone here crows about the dish they prepared, especially when they
post an involved/convoluted recipe, I expect to see it otherwise they
didn't prepare it. This group is about food/cooking, anyone who
doesn't share does not belong here and is just a SCHNORRER TROLL!

Company for lunch today:
Nothing fancy, just coldcut sandwiches . . .
