I had an accident earlier that led to solving a couple of mysteries.
I mentioned that I made Mrs. Grass soup for dinner. I have also mentioned in the past, the horrible lazy Susan cupboards that I have. The one that I use for canned soup/meat/chili/etc. has been weird for some time now. One day I just couldn't turn it fully around and could figure out why. And now I know. In getting the box of soup, I accidentally knocked a can off the side of the shelf and it flew towards the back corner to where I could barely see it. And in looking for it with a flashlight, I spotted a small red lid to one of the Rubbermaid containers that Angela got me for Christmas a few years ago. Since the lid was flat, it must have Frisbeed out of the draining rack or something where it sat, inside and behind and under the edge of the shelf. It was somehow stuck there and I accidently pushed it in to where I couldn't see it at all. I think my moving the turntable back and forth repeatedly had dislodged in to begin with. And then? I now have an assortment of cans on the kitchen floor that I will put back after I finish eating, but way in the back, visible only when using a flashlight and making like a bendy worm did I discover the real problem. Three plastic cups of pineapple, one loose, two in cardboard sleeve. Now brown as they expired in 2009. Also a can of Fred Meyer kidney beans. When did they switch from that brand? Some time ago I think. And some kind of white beans. Some odd brand that I don't even remember buying. And now? Cupboard moves freely! |

The pie shape wouldn't work with this. I did put non slip stuff in there and did figure out how to put it in. It's not a perfect fit but it works. And yours must not be as big as mine then. I play hell every time something flies off the side to get it back out again. These things somehow got into that back corner which is totally blind. I only discovered them by using a flashlight and a hook. > >>> In getting the box of soup, I accidentally knocked a can off the side of >>> the >>> shelf and it flew towards the back corner to where I could barely see >>> it. > > Okay. > >>> And in looking for it with a flashlight, I spotted a small red lid to >>> one of >>> the Rubbermaid containers that Angela got me for Christmas a few years >>> ago. >>> Since the lid was flat, it must have Frisbeed out of the draining rack >>> or >>> something where it sat, inside and behind and under the edge of the >>> shelf. >>> It was somehow stuck there and I accidently pushed it in to where I >>> couldn't >>> see it at all. Apparently I didn't structure that sentence correctly.
