Default "Match Your Mood" Westinghouse Refrigerators

I saw this advertisement early yesterday morning on TCM... right before
the "duck and cover" school film. How to customize your fridge:

Don't you want to do this? LOL

When we moved into this house the old dishwasher had changeable colored
panels which apparently were popular when that dishwasher was installed.

Don't buy yet. Soon I plan to be marketing different clothes outfits
for American domestic appliances so you can dress them up to look like
cats, dogs, celebrities etc.

Well... that was an ad from 1968 and I still don't care if my
refrigerator matches my orange tabby cat. Maybe if the refrigerator was
covered in fur and purred... no, never mind.

I had to stop watching after the astro gold fridge. I didn't like
that musical sound back then and I still don't.
People still try to hide the fridge in among the cabinets by putting
wood surfaces on them. I prefer to just match appliance colors, all
black or white or stainless. Much cleaner.
thanks for the way back time machine.

Me either. Made me think of the Monkees.

It was funny! I didn't realize it was as late as 1968 but then again,
it was sort of like "Laugh In". I've seen some recent examples of wood
grain looking refrigerators on HGTV. Can't say I care for them. I sure
wouldn't want my refrigerator to match my dress. I do change clothes
daily so that would be a major chore!

It would be relevant to ask if you used to go go dance in cage...
