"Woman arrested for cooking roommates ferret in oven

By Jackie Salo November 8, 2017 | 7:40pm | Updated

This roommate is eating meals in jail over what she allegedly tried to cook in the oven.

Ivana Clifford, 26, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly killing her roommates ferret by putting it in an oven at their apartment in Manchester, New Hampshire, news station WHDH reported.

Authorities said they were called around 3 a.m. about reports of smoke in the building.

Firefighters determined the source was the apartments stove and found the pet dead inside with burn marks.

Cliffords roommate, Cara Murray, claimed that Clifford put the ferret, Angel, in the oven and turned on the heat.

€śHow can someone be so cruel to [put] an animal in your oven and cooking it alive,€ť Murray told WHDH.

She said the loss of her 2-year-old ferret has been €śdevastating.€ť

€śTo lose a ferret is like losing a kid,€ť Murray said. €śI just cant believe she did that.€ť

Clifford told police that she cooked the pet as revenge for her roommate stealing clothes.

The 26-year-old was arrested on animal cruelty charges. She is being held in custody on $10,000 bail..."

Good grief. That cheap slut should be put into a large cold oven
alive herself as a death sentence. Put her in then turn on the
heat. Not just ferrets but to do that to any animal is pure evil
and anyone that does such a thing should receive the same
sentence with no remorse. "An eye for an eye" situation. They
need to die the same evil way.

If that happened around here, I might just be waiting for her to
get out of jail.

I had a customer tell me once of a friend that had a ferret. It
had climbed into her dishwasher and was underneath the bottom
rack. She didn't know and just closed the door and turned on the
dishwasher. Then this customer just laughed at the irony there.
She thought it was funny but I was horrified.

Put yourself in the ferret's place. Door closes and you are
trapped. Water starts coming in and it quickly turns very hot,
then the damn machine starts up and hot scalding water is sprayed
all over you. Quite a bit of panicking and extreme suffering as
you slowly die.

I saw no humor in that story and felt like punching her in the
face just for chuckling about it as she told me.

Anybody that would think that's funny is sick.
