In our house, we also celebrate Chuseok, the Korean version - and similar to Thanksgiving in the USA or Christmas, food-and-family-wise. Bye, Sanne. |

The Canadian Thanksgiving, like most others, is thanksgiving for the harvest home, hence at the beginning of fall. Thankfully most of us don't have Pilgram Fathers hanging around. |
