Default Turkey soup

I didn't bake a turkey fer T-day, but was invited to someone's home
fer it. I gave her my side of mac/cheese and she gave me her turkey
carcase. I told her I would make turkey soup from it. BUT .... I
discovered she had made stuffing and stuffed the bird, with it.

I've got the carcase steaming away in the 'big orange', in the oven.
Will the 'stuffing' remnants pollute the soup? I planned on removing
bits and pieces of bone, gristle, etc, by hand. Can one make a soup
from this mess, despite the 'stuffing' remnants or should I jes toss
it?

nb

I always add some of the leftover stuffing to my turkey soup. We like it.

That's what I needed to know! Thnx, Cheri.

I jes finished reading an extensive recipe fer turkey soup. It was
very informative.

<http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/moms_turkey_soup/>

In fact, I jes added fresh celery, carrots, organic chkn stk, and bay
leaves, etc, to the mix. Recipe sez to cook fer 4 hrs, then let cool
to room temp. That's when I'll remove the bones, gristle, etc. Looks
like an all-day job. Gimme time to learn howto use my 'pasta maker'.

I bought some pastry flour, to mix with APF (3:1), to make '00'
noodles. Thnx, gang.

That sounds really good. It makes me a bit sorry that I didn't buy a whole
turkey this year. Enjoy.

You will be fine.

Just strain the stock when done and separate any grease off.

If anything the stuffing bread is a nice thickener.

Eat on!

Good trade, btw.

My mental health professional has directed me to apologize to this
group at large and to Marty and Steven in specific for acting out
here. A change in my medications is being made to address a disorder I
have been experiencing this summer. I will be monitored, but I am no
longer allowed to engage in certain activities I previously have
enjoyed as they exacerbate my condition. I apologize for being
disruptive, in a better state of mind this was generally not an issue
for me.
