Yes.

What IS "souse"?

I usta read "soused pig's face" was Capt Aubrey's (Master/Commander)
favorite dish. Never really knew what is was. Spotted Dick, yes.
"Souse pig's face", no.

Head cheese or brawn is a cold cut that originated in Europe. A version
pickled with vinegar is known as souse.

FWIW, the other day I cleared out my kill files. I let almost everyone
back into my virtual world. A couple were put back into it because when
they went in it was meant to be permanent. A couple more went back when
they posted the same sort of offensive crap that got them in. Then there
was one who ended up back in because several messages in a row had more
than 100 lines of quoted text from the thread and then added only four
word responses.

That does not change my attitude about the chronic nymshifters who keep
changing names to get past filters because they insist on being heard
and offending others.

Yes, I do occasionally take pot shots at the denizens of my filter.
They continue to post their idiocy and others make a point of replying
and quoting that idiocy. Opportunity knocks once, but temptation leans
on the doorbell.

Sure you can. One person with seriously compromised credibility had
could not restrain herself from replying to some of my posts after she
had stated that she had filtered me.

When someone bitches about me, that's fine, but I want to be able to
say something back. When I know they've got me killfiled, I'll change
my name so they see what I say. If they never want to hear from me
again, it's easy: don't bitch about me and I won't change my name.

When I was a kid we rarely ate cold cuts. My best friend was German and
I learned that good salami could be eaten for breakfast, lunch and
dinner. I don't remember ever seeing liverwurst in our kitchen, but at
my friends place we had it on toasted Rogenbrot, another thing my
parents never bought.

Head cheese I can relate to. Pork bits in aspic. BUT! ....is "soused
pig's face" a pickled dish or an sliced aspic terrine?

terrine is too fancy. It is a jellied meat in loaf form. In this
case jellied does not me Jell-o but rather natural collagen. In my
reference, you would find it in the meat case of the deli section and
you would use it as a sandwich meat.
search souse meat sandwich, you will see pictures of what I mean

To say nothing of the fact that even if someone is killfiled and someone
responds that you do read, there they are in all their glory. I don't
killfile, never have, but sometimes I do skip a few posters on any given day
when I see where it's gone.

review (Grand Opening weekend, IIRC) as well as writing to corporate
about my experience (Oscar + overcharges). Sprouts has never responded
or offered a refund. They'll probably complain about this review, though.
