I munch on Quest bars before gym sessions, for their
low sugar, so the label says. The taste is acceptable, but it leaves an aftertaste enduring about a half hour. I can taste it on every breath! It's not unpleasant, but weird, unnatural, to last that long. It must leave a coating on the tongue, that's the only explanation I can surmise. So, anybody suggest an antidote? This is like asking for a hangover remedy, I expect a dozen answers - -- Rich |

No; I'm not trying to troll you - that might actually work according to your description of your problem. Bye, Sanne. |

Reminds me of the old joke: - Patient: Doc, it hurts when I do this. - Doc: Well don't do that then. Find a new protein bar that won't screw up your tongue. There are plenty on the market. I looked up the Quest bars and it sounds like you are eating one of the worst kind of protein bars. Check out that ingredient list. If you are really so concerned, read a bit he http://www.breakfastcriminals.com/wh...rs-quest-bars/ The bars don't sound like all that and there seems to be much better options. Your call from here, pal. Quit whining about your poor tongue. :-D If you are eating something that's causing problems.....QUIT EATING IT! |
