A few minutes ago, 4-5 inches:

I'll probably need to plow tomorrow.

Snowed. Nothing to shovel but it's pretty.

Thank you, it looked so pretty out the window I decided to venture
out for a shot. Had to run it through a filter because it is
black out.

I live in a town with many historic big old homes, the holiday lights are lovely. Also, we have these dim old - fashioned streetlights, so dim that I have a flashlight to aid my way down the sidewalks. But they are romantic - looking, especially in the snow:

A link from the above, I guess the lights are "Prairie - style" streetlamps:

"Tallmadge was also known for designing a street light in the 1920's that is still in use today in Evanston and Oak Park..."

Absolutely gorgeous. People had better think twice before throwing the
baby out with the bathwater. They need to retrofit those or replicate
them so they do a better job.

Nice when stuff like that is preserved. So much great art has been
trashed in the name of modernization.

Lovely... similar to the one I posted in 2008:

Merry Christmas to you too

No snow in my bit of UK (although it is causing a lot of problems elsewhere_

BUT - 8c this am (17.6 degree Fahrenheit) so we are starting to cool down.

Everything is white. Really pretty)

Yesterday we had just enough snow to say it was snowing. In the
afternoon we went to Port Colborne and the plows were out.

It snowed in Atlanta, Georgia last night. A very wet snow. It knocked
down trees limbs and some residential power lines. A man was
electocuted (to death) because he couldn't see them and walked into live
electric lines.

Snow in Atlanta. That's very odd.

It does not thrill me to see snow in Georgia when I have plans to go to
Georgia to get away from snow, and they have more than we have. Snow is
even more troublesome when there are still leaves on trees. It means
more weight on branches and they snap.

That storm fetched up in New Brunswick, we got rain.

It was surprising to hear it snowed in Atlanta. I doubt it will snow on
Tybee Island in February. But it won't be what I consider tropical
warmth, either. It may feel that way to you, though.

Just an FYI, a few years ago I was sitting in a neighbor's kitchen,
chit-chatting. I was facing the windows. I had to blink to make sure,
then stopped her in mid-sentence: "It's snowing!" It was just a quick
spate of snowflakes, gone just as fast as we could notice them. That
was in early *May*.

It probably will. It will likely be warmer than the temperature of the
start and end out our paddling season up here.

We had about 4 inches of snow last night. I have to go and clear it off
the driveway before I go out.
