I don't see the resemblance, and I actually spent some time with Tiny Tim about
six months before his untimely death in 1996. Very entertaining guy; probably
the nicest person I've ever met in show business, and an absolute authority on
music from the turn of the 20th century.

It's a real listing, but then again aren't they all? Hmmm. Leno talked
about this on The Tonight Show last night, then showed equally stupid
listings and asked the audience if they thought they sold or not. Someone
actually *bought* an air guitar. It was just a photo of some guy pretending
to play guitar. There was a photo of the guitar case but the listing stated
the case was not included. Some people are just incredibly stupid.

I agree.

Here in Texas we see the Virgin Mary in tortillas. I guess it depends
on where you live.

Exactly, no one knows what the real Virgin Mary looked
like, assuming there even was one.

Prolly not. There are many, many morons in the world.
Some with enough cash to be stupendously moronic. I say
if they want to do it and waste their money, let them.
People deserve what they get when they do it to themselves.

I would never pay $69,000 for a sandwich. Well, I couldn't afford it anyway,
but that's not important. What is important is that if I had $69,000 to throw
away I wouldn't spend it on a sandwich.

It was up to US $99,999,999.00 for a while, before eBay started
cancelling bids.

Some people have more money that brains. One that comes to mind is the guy who
spent something like $50,000 on a bottle of wine at an auction house and then
accidentally dropped the bottle in the stairs on the way out, smashing it to
pieces.

What a stupid listing. I think the best I ever saw was few years back.
Someone was trying to sell one of their kidneys. eBay yanked the auction
but it was up to about $10,000 in 2 days.
