I wonder sometimes if in 20 years nursing homes will be serving Pad Thai
and pizza. Probably not. It's easier to slop out bland stuff from
the big food service packages.

I have the rice but have yet to make it. I thought that cardamon might
be a good spice to use. My grandmother always used nutmeg but Mum
didn't. One aunt used to add a bay leaf to the milk.

Some international dishes must be easy to turn into nursing home food.
