I take some friends shopping about once a week and it was a store near where they live. I also wouldn't say that I was bitching or complaining. Merely stating a fact. They seemed to go bad quickly. |

I can't stand the texture of shriveled tomatoes. Might be okay cooked into something but I was planning to eat them raw. |

I guess I should have suspected something when I saw other customers looking but not buying. I passed up the large clamshells because those clearly had some old ones in there. This container looked fine when I got it. I suspect that I ordered from PCC on a bad day. They subbed a yellow squash for the zucchini that I wanted and those tomatoes for the cherry. This didn't work for me as I wanted a colorful stir fry. I wound up going to another store for the zucchini. It may well be that they were not out of the items that I ordered but they were not fresh. |

No counter space for one thing and they do rot quickly if left out. I did have some get wrinkly/soft before I used them all but they were rather old when I bought them. They do come with a date on them indicating when they were packaged. |

Trader Joes is an exception. I will buy neither from them. Too many meat recalls for my liking and the produce I've bought in the past is almost always bad. |
