I think that some of these invisible infestations can be highly localized. In one house but not the other. It might also be that some stores will have this problem and some won't. My guess is that it's tough to rid a place of some spores once they're established.

Bun E. Carlos is a killer drummer. And the other two? Talented and oh so
cute!

He does, doesn't he? They have a different drummer now. Bun E. is getting
along in age.

Oh really? You go right ahead then. Years ago it was Pita bread. That stuff
was getting moldy in the store. I will no longer buy it. And some bread that
I bought with no preservatives in it went moldy soon. And more recently some
lemons from PCC. This is also where the last tomatoes came from. It's not my
local one but the Kirkland one that delivers. What else went moldy? Aside
from really old stuff like some salsa years ago, I can't think of any.

The birds were at the Woodinville Costco. I have not been there in some
time. The turban broomer was at the Lynnwood Walmart. I haven't been there
for a long time either but neither has he.

I didn't bother taking them back because the store is nowhere near here. I
take some friends shopping about once a week and it was a store near where
they live. I also wouldn't say that I was bitching or complaining. Merely
stating a fact. They seemed to go bad quickly.

I can't stand the texture of shriveled tomatoes. Might be okay cooked into
something but I was planning to eat them raw.

So... You would drive about 15 miles each way to return $3 worth of
tomatoes? I wouldn't.

We eat a lot of salad so I often buy the huge clamshells but these were the
small ones. I guess I should have suspected something when I saw other
customers looking but not buying. I passed up the large clamshells because
those clearly had some old ones in there. This container looked fine when I
got it.

I suspect that I ordered from PCC on a bad day. They subbed a yellow squash
for the zucchini that I wanted and those tomatoes for the cherry. This
didn't work for me as I wanted a colorful stir fry. I wound up going to
another store for the zucchini. It may well be that they were not out of the
items that I ordered but they were not fresh.

I buy those too. I never leave tomatoes out. No counter space for one thing
and they do rot quickly if left out. I did have some get wrinkly/soft before
I used them all but they were rather old when I bought them. They do come
with a date on them indicating when they were packaged.

There are some stores here where I will not buy meat or produce unless it is
some branded/prepackaged item. Trader Joes is an exception. I will buy
neither from them. Too many meat recalls for my liking and the produce I've
bought in the past is almost always bad.

I think that some of these invisible infestations can be highly localized.
In one house but not the other. It might also be that some stores will have
this problem and some won't. My guess is that it's tough to rid a place of
some spores once they're established.

---

But if that were the case, then wouldn't the other foods in my fridge door
go moldy too? And they didn't.

A woman in a blue dress is singing and dancing with hats, shoes, and other objects that have legs and feet which are walking towards and past the camera. The music sounds like Russian Christmas music.

I'd post 'em but they don't exist. They pretty much look like a fried steak. I got a couple more but they're in the fridge decomposing. I'll remember to take some pics when I fry them up. It's going to take a couple of weeks.

Kawaii fashion videoblogger makes it big as a pop music sensation. That's highly unlikely but that's what happened.

Girl dies by an arrow through her heart and walks in the land of the dead. Through the power of kawaii, she transforms the landscape, is reborn, and gets her life back.

Lol, no worries...fried steak is fried steak.

From a big round calzone to a bit of a souffle over crust.

Darned tasty looking!

Esp. like the one with the interlaced pie crust strips on top.

This is so cool, it's like someone morphed a kaleidoscope with Yellow

The heck with Taylor Swift (not really), but these are art defined.
