The last comedy I watched and enjoyed was All in the Family because it wasn't simply comedy, it also had social connotations. |

With Corrie one can see the difference, the NA soaps are all about extremely wealthy folk in contrast to Corries working people. For ages I was able to pick up Open All Hours on PBS.
