And I didn't even have to leave my house!
I just made two loaves of banana bread for dessert! I live with some excellent Indian cooks, from India! :-) No Mango Lasse though! ;-) John Kuthe... |

My wife was shocked that she let the bananas decompose in the refrigerator to such an awful state but said that was the best banana bread she ever tasted. I think it could have used a touch more salt but you didn't hear that from me. It was a very dark banana bread. That is a good thing. |

Bananas should be very ripe to make excellent banana bread. My mother used to make wonderful banana nut bread. She let them sit on the counter until the skins were well speckled with black. You want very soft bananas, all the sugars concentrated. That's the key. The natural sugars concentrated. Mash them and make banana bread. ![]() > How is your steak coming on? His tenants don't realize they're not just signing a lease, they're also signing a contract to be part of John's "family". Saying that his "family" is back for spring semester is super creepy. I'd wonder what happens when tenants don't warm up to being part of his "family". He only has room for 3 or 4 graves in the back yard before he has to start doubling up the bodies. ObFood: Beef, scallop, shrimp, and squid chow fun. I didn't realize these squid steaks are solid slabs of giant squid - not chopped and formed. -sw |

You bought a house all the time bragging about all the retirement income you're going to get, yet don't charge anybody rent. So what you're saying now is that you bought it just because you're lonely and wanted a "family"? Everybody's taking an advantage and getting a piece of push-over John's insane gullibility. And I didn't even get a cherry - hrmpf. -sw |

A change in my medications is being made to address a disorder I have been experiencing this summer. I will be monitored, but I am no longer allowed to engage in certain activities I previously have enjoyed as they exacerbate my condition. I apologize for being disruptive, in a better state of mind this was generally not an issue for me. |
