It's curious that so many people who think that killing mammals and
birds to eat them is cruel but that they have no concerns about the way
fish meet their doom. The suffocate in gill nets or in the hold of the
ships. Fishermen can bop them on the head and gut them while they are
still alive. If baby seals looked like lobsters they would stick them
into boiling water.

You're a meat eater, so for you veganism is useless. That's logical.

Ideally I shouldn't eat fish either. Or cheese or milk. I only eat our
own eggs. Our hens have a good life but where are their brothers?

So what you're saying is that pescatarians are halfway (only halfway)
decent people and meat eaters are just plain monsters. I see your

No, I don't think you do see my point. I think that the pescatarians
have deluded themselves into thinking they are decent people because
they don't eat animals who met an agonizing death, but who don't realize
that the humanely slaughtered mammals and birds suffer a lot less than
the fish do.

Ideally, I shouldn't eat fish either. But I feel less empathy towards
fish than towards mammals and birds. That's why I draw the line there.
I'd be a better person if I also didn't eat fish or eat cheese.

Anyway, it's strange when meat eaters judge pescatarians. It should be
the other way around. You'll eat anything, without any scruples. And
so does everybody else here. That's why I'll only accept judgment from
vegetarians and vegans :)

The only judgement is in the form of questioning how someone can refrain
from eating meat on the grounds that the critters suffer but having no
concern about the horrific suffering that fish go through when they are
caught in a net or on a hook and then thrown into the hold.
