There's nothing wrong with a vegan diet for humans. And this carnivore newsgroup is full of people who buy the cheapest of the cheapest food, regardless of animal welfare or working conditions of workers. |

If I am looking for ideas I will probably go to Food Network because there are enough recipes from reliable sources for me to get the gist of how to prepare. Because sometimes you are just looking for something to fit around what you have in the fridge as leftovers or as fresh. Yesterday I was looking for a basic but different stir fry sauce and just typed stir fry sauce into my search engine. That's how I ended up at yumly. It gave me what I needed. Janet US |

Sure, if you go to enough effort you can manage to maintain a healthy diet. Omnivores can do that by eating a well balanced diet. > And this carnivore newsgroup is full of people who buy the cheapest of > the cheapest food, regardless of animal welfare or working conditions > of workers. Do you know that for a fact. My dog gets a salmon based food that sure isn't cheap. His food is so good that when I take him to the dog park there are a couple dogs who come running to greet him because they know he will crap within two minutes of arrival and they will eat it up before we get a chance to pick it up. I am not shitting you. One yellow lab comes running to the gate when we arrive and she will get behind him as soon as he starts to squat and grab it before it hits the ground. The other day my dog walked along and dropped a line of turds. I tried to get a bag opened up while trying to block Maggie when another yellow lab scooted over and snatched them. |

Fitting around what I have in the fridge is one of the reasons that I often look up recipes online. I enter the word "recipe" and some of the ingredients I am planning to use up and Google gives me a number of recipes with those ingredients. |

I don't think your dog's shit is extra tasty because you feed it well ![]() And not everybody here buys cheap crap. But I'm thinking, for instance, of some Americans here who love their 89 (or whatever) cent per pound chicken. And then one goes "Ha, I can get it for 79 cents" and then they're all in awe. |

A change in my medications is being made to address a disorder I have been experiencing this summer. I apologize for being disruptive, in a better state of mind this was generally not an issue for me. |
