written by a brother from a monastery and the word "monastery" is in each title. They are very good recipes that I use a lot. |

Nothing too fancy just simple to make soups. _Twelve Months of Monastery Soups_ by Brother Victor-Antoine d'Avila-Latourette. Highly recommended. I've posted a few recipes from the book in recent years - look them up to see if you like them. Victor |

"Splendid Soups" is my recommendation, too. Lots of good ideas, some more complicated than others. I'm quite keen on Peterson's "Sauces" as well. -j |
