I would just like to wish all mothers(tm) here a
very Happy Mother's Day.

I hope it's a 'better than average' day for you.
Each and everyone of you are special.
There's no woman in anyone's life more special
than their own mom.

I concur. I miss my mother every day. In her memory, I'll be making
Corn Doodle Burgers. That's salmon patties made with crushed corn
chips. Sounds wacky but it works. Thanks, Mom!

Thanks Gary - I was out at my baby grandsons last night for dinner -
he just moved in with his lovely girlfriend, we really like her. Now
today presently I am going to my elder daughters for lunch and to
celebrate my middle great-granddaughters 11th birthday. Has made for
a very pleasant weekend.

No one truly dies as long as they are remembered.
My mom and dad were married over 67 years. He died
about 14 months ago so I've been worried about my
mom. She seems to be dealing with it though. She
will turn age 87 in 2 months.

I email her every day, and we've phone talked every
Saturday morning for many years. She's always known
that she's welcome in my place. For now, my sister is
there although she's always gone off leaving mom alone.
Still if mom has a need, sister is there to assist.

When my lease is up next year, I will offer to move
in with her to keep her company and to cook for her.
These days, they live on frozen dinners and fast food.
Sister doesn't cook and is gone most times.

If something happened to sister, I would break my lease
and get up there pronto. Mom can't be left alone.

My felicitations to all of you moms, too.

I didn't have children, so I'm cooking dinner today. Roast turkey,
stuffing, and gravy. Preceded by a tossed salad.

I don't have children at home so I'm cooking dinner too. I will have an A&W
Mama Burger for lunch, dh will go get it. A MD splurge for me. You don't
have to be a mother to have a good day, so I hope you have one too.
