I observed yesterday that my garlic is ready to harvest. I'll
have Wednesday off, so I'll go out in the morning when it's
cool and dig it up. I expect to get about three dozen heads.

The basil plants are doing well, so I see some pasta and chicken
with butter, basil, and garlic in my future.

Thank you, Janet UK. Many young women let their bodies turn to flab,
however many women take good care of their physique and have fine
toned bodies into old age. People can't believe my wife is seventy
years old. She exercises every day... when she was much younger she
participated in race walking on the streets of NYC, she participated
in many events and won several, probably what did in her knees, but
now all recovered from her recent knee replacements. She skis all
winter and tackles the black diamonds. In warm weather she golfs and
mostly walks the 18 holes, in fact she's golfing right now and
Thunderheart is quite challenging for walkers, it's very hilly. She
also bikes long distances, she considers 50 miles a warm up. She has
a YMCA membersip where she goes through her routines twice a week...
she used to swim and do water aerobics but was advised by her doctor
to give it up due to constant ear and sinus infections... public pools
are not very clean and not truely maintained as they claim.... since
she stopped swimming the infections stopped as well. At home she has
a very nice stationary bike that she uses when whether doesn't permit
riding outdoors. And she gardens for hours. Her 36 Cs are firm and
hardly sag, they are better than many 20 year olds. I've known 20
year olds who when they lie on their backs their C cups hide in their
arm pits.... and they shouldn't because a twenty year old women's
boobs are perhaps only 7 years old.

It's easy to grow. Plant the individual cloves in the fall. Come
spring, keep it watered and fertilized. Harvest in June or July.

There's some niggling details that I omitted for brevity.

A 20 year old breast means it came from a *very* old chicken!

Yeah....this is the off-season. New ones probably won't start
until September or whatever their season schedule is. I read last
week when "old man" died, they hadn't started filming the new
season yet.

In the meantime, once or twice a week they do show several-hour
marathons of the old shows. Last Tuesday or Wednesday, they
tossed in a memorial to the old fellow for the last hour. It was
old clips of him along with short interviews with others on the
show talking about him. That was brand new.

Smile, the one that has been with you through thick and thin times and
stayed by you. Yes. It's an age clarity that others may not discern
in the question.
