I made beef stew. Gardener wanted a salad as well. I had enough stuff to cobble together a salad from the garden but added Swiss cheese, pecans, black olives and Craisins. Spent from dinner time and on making cookies. Am doing the Mexican wedding cakes now. Looks like I'll be up for a while! Thought I had pretty much used up the flour. Have only a small amount of whole wheat pastry flour. Thought I had used all the AP and whole wheat but... Surprise! Found another bag of whole wheat. Not sure what to do with it. Don't need bread and certainly no more cookies. Might make a pizza with some of it tomorrow as our weather has turned oddly mild. |
