You apparently don't know how very un-cool, practically illegal in
India, for non-Hindus to use the namaste greeting. Multiply that
offense times 10 when a non-Hindu uses it to address other
non-Hindus. It's very disrespectful.

Having a couple temporary Indian housemates does not make you Hindu.
It just makes you easily impressionable, willfully ignorant, and
extremely rude.
