Default What's for Dinner ?

Â* Well , I harvested enough tomatoes for another 7 quarts this morning
- plus 3 beauties for slicing . And the local market has bacon on sale
today for $1.69/lb in a 10 lb box . And I baked earlier this week . If
you guessed pork fried rice you're wrong ...

The only good use for ten pounds of bacon is for a boy scout troop
camping jamboree, baiting fish hooks.

Enjoy your BLT(s).

For us, it's grilled fish, corn, and tossed salad.

I got some nice thin steaks that were marked down. Those were cut in strips,
stir fried with broccoli, carrots, snow peas, celery, bell pepper and Bull
Dog sauce. Black beans and long grain brown rice on the side.

I had short grain brown rice and some orange chicken. I bought a different
brand of rice and it just isn't appealing. Don't know what the problem is.
No matter what I add to it, it isn't very flavorful. It was okay with a
little of the orange sauce though.

I know I'll regret asking, but why did you cook two different types of
brown rice? What's the point of cooking separate meals? (Things
haven't changed much since you got divorced.) I'll take a guess: you
bought too much of the short grain and needed to use it up. It's a sad
commentary on your cooking when you consistantly say things just aren't
appealing.

Here's a hint: eating rice day after day is pretty boring no matter how
you spice it up.
