I just ordered a large Imos Pizza with pepperoni, jalapenos and pineapple AND anchovies!

Those pizzas look like nothing I've seen before. My guess is that they're made by machines. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. My guess is that you get a faster, more consistent product by doing it that way. OTOH, the true value of a pizza does not come from how it's made. Personally, I like machines. How does it taste?

DEE-LISH!! :-)

Imo's Pizza is a St Louis thing. Each Imo's Pizza is made by hand, it's franchise pizza store some love and some hate. Very THIN crust, crunchy right out of the pizza oven, but usually softened up especially by delivery.

And Imo's Pizzas are cut into SQUARES! Know why? Mr Imo who invented them was a Italian IMMIGRANT to the U.S. in the immigration RUSH for WHITE PEOPLE to the U.S. in the 1900's who was a tile worker!

It's an interesting pizza. Hopefully, I can try it one day. I like new food.

Imo's is definitely unusual pizza. People normally either love it or hate it.
