Default Sunday dinner

Went to the farmers' market and bought locally produced aubergines,
courgettes, sweet peppers and onions for a ratatouille* but forgot the
garlic. Had to buy damned imported from the local s/m - but at least it
wasn't Chinese. Used canned tomatoes as I couldn't be bothered with
skinning and seeding fresh.
As usual, I underestimated the size of pan and ended up splitting it
between 2.
Enjoyed it with a pork steak, mashed potatoes and a very good NZ pinot noir.

*pronounced "ratatwee" not "ratatooee".
