Anyone who pays taxes to the federal government of the United States is
funding the reckless killing of civilians in military action that has never
been properly explained nor approved by congress. You don't need to feel
guilty about it unless you have never raised your voice in protest against
it.

I don't feel guilty about any of it. I really have no choice about how they
spend the tax dollars, if I did they wouldn't be squandering it like they do
on a lot of nonsense.

All the folks going on and on about how they don't feel guilty about stuff in the past. That's fine with me. It's not about feeling guilty. My revelation about this group is that a lot of them can only see things from their awesomely small, self-centered view. The world could burn but if someone writes a check ahead of them in the check-out line, it's a personal insult. It's just nutty as hell.

at all. What I take exception to is they have stood there and watched every
single item being rung up. The cashier tells them the total and THEN they
start rambling around in their purse hunting their checkbook. They knew
before they walked through the doors of the store they were going to pay
with a check; that should have been written out with only the amount need-
ing to be filled in.

I don't have any problem with check writing people because it's so rare to see that happen. I get to watch the act and contemplate the fact that people used to do it back in the day. I don't mind when they mess up. That makes me grin when they get all rattled. The more mistakes they make the funnier it gets. Obviously, I'm a bad person. Anyway, it just makes me appreciate this modern life and the way we handle payments.

I still write checks. And I love them, because I can make them out for any amount I want! As long as I have the $$ in my checking acct, of course.
