Default I'm making a YUGE batch of Cashew Raisin Mushroom Linguine!

For sharing!

Then DINNER! I ate the last of the last batch for dinner last night!

It keeps amazingly well covered in the fridge! And my Lady Love loves it as an alternative to rice!

Maybe they are just put off by the thoughts of cashew raisin mushroom
concoctions. It sounds like something Euell Gibbons would have liked.

Try a little tree bark in it next time.

Basic recipe:

Bunch of mushrooms, washed, sliced
Small red onion
Several cloves garlic
EVOO, lots!
Freshly ground black pepper

Finely dice onion, mince in garlic, begin cooking gently in large open skillet. Add black pepper as needed with additions of mushrooms too. When the mushrooms cook down some add one 2oz can cashews, handful of raisins, sweet paprika. Add to:

1 box Barilla whole wheat Linguine
Cook, drain, put in large bowl with:
1 stick butter

Mix well to melt butter. Black pepper, basil, some red pepper flakes to taste, toss slightly and grate a BUNCH of ParmesanÂ*Reggiano and YUM!

You're partially correct. If you are looking for personal attention
posting controversial topics will get a lot of responses. Your first
post on this subject gave no information about the topic other than the
topic and you ate it. Including a recipe or something of interest other
than you cooked something and ate it may help. Then again maybe no one
liked anything about your post or recipe.

When I saw it I first thought so what and it isn't something I would
make so didn't want to just comment this SUCKS. There isn't really much
to say about the fact that you added a few ingredients to some spaghetti.

Maybe, but then this isn't "I make everything from scratch-all gourmet-brand
name dropping-cooking group" either.

That's pretty much my take on it. I read the subject, wasn't interested
in the linguini so I ignored it. When he didn't get enough attention he
replied to himself yelling like a spoiled child for lack of response.
I'm still not interested in cashew raisin mushroom linguini.

I wonder if there might be some mental health support groups he could
benefit from.

DON'T let Lil' Pantywaist Wayne BULLY you like that, John...

He's simply envious that you are surrounded by lovely young women, while he is a rotted old toad - faced EVIL queen...

Think of Lil' Wayne as an *extremely* low - rent version of "The Picture of Dorian Gray"...which you can see here in the Art Institute of Chicago - BEWARE...gaze not LONG into the face of the GORGON Lil' Wayne...!!! Go he

http://www.artic.edu/about/press/pre...titute-chicago

"Albrights reputation as an inimitable painter of decaying flesh led to his commission to paint The Picture of Dorian "Lil' Wayne Boatwright" Gray for a 1945 Hollywood film adaptation of Oscar Wildes novel. Wilde described the decadent aristocrat as €świthered, wrinkled, and loathsome of visage,€ť and Albright certainly pushed that depiction to the limit €“ the eyes bulge maniacally, and sores and pustules cover Lil' Wayne's leprous features..."

Jesus ****, what an asshole. And then Wayne, the hypocritical piece
of shit, turns around and posts a long and pointless post about his
hearing loss.

It doesn't get more dick-headed than that. John actually makes an
on-topic post for a change and Wayne goes on a self-righteous
rampage. There's something wrong with that boy other than just
Down's Syndrome.

That makes two of us but the raisins and mushrooms together was what was
off putting to me. I read it and though 'meh.'

I first invented the dish without raisins, then added them, and the burst of sweet in an otherwise savory dish is good to me and others.

You can leave them out.
