Â* This is awesome over some vanilla ice cream . In a straight sided 12
oz coffee cup mix a half cup or so of regular sugar , a heaping teaspoon of cocoa , and a half tbsp of butter , a couple of drops of vanilla and enough water to make a paste just a little thinner than toothpaste . Nuke for about a minute and 15 , stirring frequently - it WILL boil over if you don't watch it ! When it's smooth and all the sugar has dissolved it's ready . If you got the mix right it will stiffen to a thick creamy consistency when it his the ice cream . Gooey and delicious ! -- Snag Yes , I'm old and crochety - and armed . Get outta my woods ! |

DUH The real "duh" here would be spending $8 on something that consistently comes in last place in taste tests, wouldn't arrive for at least 4 days, based on your advice <laugh>, and that I wouldn't use for another 15 years? No, I think I'll stick to making an even better product from real sugar, real vanilla, fresh milk, and without preservatives at home and for a mere $.20 whenever that urge strikes. You were born with TIAD. -sw |

I even put ice in my cold chocolate milk (gets too warm for em after you stir in the syrup or powder). I don't even drink coffee except for once every 10 years or so (March 18th 2016 was the last time) and I feel really stupid paying $5 for a plastic cup that's 65% ice. And if I had cocoa mix on hand I could just make real chocolate milk (with milk) - no need to fake it with the other two ingredients which I'd never have on hand. So, thank you, but not my cup of tea (and no hot tea since 1981) -sw |

Then we'd add milk and either drink that or heat the milk in a pan for hot chocolate. It's a lot quicker these days using a microwave for all the steps. :-) |

The Expiration Date is when retailers should take it off the for sale rack, NOT meaning it's unfit to eat. Just not guaranteed by the maker to be optimally fresh for sale! John Kuthe... |
