I think I am going to go the hand truck route. We're getting older
but we still get large bags of cat food, bird food, beer, cola,
potting mix etc. We have several hand trucks meant for other use but
there are others now that seem more suited to what I want to do.

Hand truck comes in mighty handy. We've one right by the garage door.

Good luck to both of you with all that therapy. Ouch. After assisting
DH change out the kitchen faucet yesterday and noticing how he did not
slide into and out of that cramped space with the speed or ease of
days gone by, I realize that those times are upon us and how much we
have already adjusted to them.

Good news: I have about 4,000 scrubbie sponges. Gee, who'd have
thought they could hide so well and breed so fast in the back of that
under sink cabinet?

Yikes! "Invasion of the Scrubbie Sponges" lol

Personally, I find it interesting that your (my) old clothes,
after hanging unused in the back of the closet for many years,
can shrink so much.

It took my husband about a week to recover from changing out a faucet
in the bathroom. Yeah, the times they are changing.
Sounds like you got to those sponges just before they became a
national threat.
I was thinking about one of those hand trucks that folds. That way I
could keep it indoors for my purposes. I can put all my Amazon
Rewards toward it. :-)
I really need to get outside and get my garden torn out but my dumb
arms keep that from happening.
