There's no such thing as enochi mushrooms. But if there were I'd
assume you'd eat them with mochi.

Enoki actually. They come in several types with the most common in the
USA being very thin stalked. Otherwise called 'straw mushroom' but
that can be problematic as there is another called that too. This
time, it's called that for the looks vice growing on straw.

It's mild and used more for looks than flavor. Works nicely in a salad.
The level of earthy flavor the more robust mushrooms have is muted
here. They are however relatively packed with antioxidents and are
believed to help prevent cancer.

Enoki is correct, my bad. I am a shroom lover and never had them. They do look nice and clean.

It's ok Thomas, I am a shroom lover too! I experiment with a lot of
grocery store types and use different ones for the effects on the
cooking. KIng Mushroom has a primary parcel of our cooking life here.
