Â* The sauce has been simmering since about 2:30 . It's beginning to
smell a lot like spaghetti in here . I'm trying to decide whether to make some french/italian bread . The loaves and cinnamon rolls I baked yesterday came out so well I'm on the verge of a baking frenzy . It could get ugly ... but it'll smell good ! -- Snag Yes , I'm old and crochety - and armed . Get outta my woods ! |

Maybe green beans and salad. Not sure. The gardener was just in there fixing some food so not sure what all he took. I might make a pot of beans. We do both eat a lot of those! I was seriously craving baked beans last night. But the way I make them takes almost 24 hours and I don't think he likes them. Only other person I know of who likes the way I make them is my nephew. |

I've really gotten into using this scale (Ohaus 2610 GM , free from a friend) for dividing stuff into equal portions . -- Snag Yes , I'm old and crochety - and armed . Get outta my woods ! |

I want them all to bake the same and look the same, weighing works the best for that. I've been wanting to bake but something always comes up that disallows a commitment of a day. Janet US |
