So? Can it cook? Can it open cans of vegetables? Can it flip a steak?

No, but I can plug it all together! THAT is my talent, the guy who knows how to solder!!

When I was 19 my musician's friends thought a sound electrical connection was to lay wires over each other (MAYBE removing the insulation!) and wondering why it works sometimes and not others!

To get the FULL CHARGE you NEED a good sound electrical connection! And soldering gives you that, if desired!

The 1/4" plugs/jacks used in electric guitars have always been problematic connection-wise. Those things would hum, crackle, pop, or just not connect at all. I've never been able to get a reliable connection. The plugs have been used since the beginning of the electric guitar and hasn't changed since. Perhaps we should all be connecting using Bluetooth.

He's going to solder the jack in. That would pretty much solve that!
