When I was 19 my musician's friends thought a sound electrical connection was to lay wires over each other (MAYBE removing the insulation!) and wondering why it works sometimes and not others! To get the FULL CHARGE you NEED a good sound electrical connection! And soldering gives you that, if desired! John Kuthe, Climate Anarchist and Solderer Of The Ages! |

Those things would hum, crackle, pop, or just not connect at all. I've never been able to get a reliable connection. The plugs have been used since the beginning of the electric guitar and hasn't changed since. Perhaps we should all be connecting using Bluetooth. ![]() |
