I've always purchased a fresh one but this year they've already been in the
stores here for a couple of days - what is the timeframe for health standards? I've read that you should only buy a fresh turkey 2 - 3 days ahead of Thanksgiving. Right - like it wasn't butchered a couple of weeks ago. |

Right - like it wasn't butchered a couple of weeks ago. My thoughts exactly. I looked at the label on a fresh turkey LAST WEEK and it said "Use by Nov. 30." No thanks! |
