They're not going to taste the best, IMO. Unless he's health conscious, he's probably better off buying some cheap canola oil. Failing that, sunflower or peanut oil. |

I've read a lot of conflicting information about the health benefits -or not- of coconut. Of course, there are a few parts to the coconut: oil, liquid, meat. |

The unrefined oil smells and tastes like coconut. |

For me that means it's a non-issue. BUT I sure take anything the American Heart Association with a grain of salt (only a grain, of course... because one doesn't want hardened arteries). |

IMO nothing wrong with grains in moderation, but in the real world there's no moderation with grains. Humans aren't designed to eat grains. They're just a cheap source of carbs/calories. https://www.usda.gov/media/blog/2017...te-food-groups claims muffins, pasta, grits, corn tortillas, pretzels etc. as being healthy, which IMO are definitely not. Eat them... but don't try to tell me they're actually 'healthy'. |
