nb, I suppose this is a statement damning a whole area, but it is...according to the
constant news...the Japanese and some other Asians who constantly defy laws to over fish areas. They are found in the oceans near Alaska and near our northeast fisheries disobeying the law because they have already overfished their own areas. When I watch un- scripted wildlife shows following game and fish wardens, it is almost always Asians who don't know the limits on numbers and sizes of legal catches of both dish and crabs and other sea life. There are also US natives who overfish and break the law but they are relatively few in numbers compared with Asians. Unfortunately, that is a prevailing attitude among those nations. They have a total disregard for the supplies of seafood, which is finite, as long as they get theirs. N. |
