Default Who stole my Cheese (plane) ???

Does anyone know the name of a cheese plane manufacturer that makes a
plane with a wavy blade pattern?

When I say "wavy" I mean that the blade pattern goes up and down like
a radio wave, not serrated.

I have not been able to find a good plane anywhere for any price.
They all seem to be focused on form not function.

The best ones ever were the "cheap" ones you could buy in any Kroger
back in the 70's and 80's for a couple of dollars.

I've tried many different designs but none of them work as well as the
one that finally broke last year.

Thanks for any help.
