Default Chicken and rice pilaf for dinner

And oh it smells good!

I toasted some brown rice in butter. Toasted some slivered almonds in
butter. Cooked some cut up chicken breast in butter.

Put the rice on to cook with salt, pepper, parsley, chicken broth and more
butter.

About halfway through, I added shredded carrots, chopped celery, chopped
mushrooms, chopped onion, and a dried roasted garlic. Will finish by
stirring in a can of chickpeas and the almonds.

Butter. Butter. Butter. Heh. You make fun of me for saying I lightly
salt food. Turnabout is fair play.

EXACTLY, yoose tell 'em.

Only velveeta works in that dish, kraft only if the stores are all
out of velveeta. I know it's sometimes hard to find in Bothel.

And to keep Popeye happy, use whatever canned beans yoose can find.

(or don't tell him if yoose cooked dried beans).
