And oh it smells good!
I toasted some brown rice in butter. Toasted some slivered almonds in butter. Cooked some cut up chicken breast in butter. Put the rice on to cook with salt, pepper, parsley, chicken broth and more butter. About halfway through, I added shredded carrots, chopped celery, chopped mushrooms, chopped onion, and a dried roasted garlic. Will finish by stirring in a can of chickpeas and the almonds. |

And to keep Popeye happy, use whatever canned beans yoose can find. (or don't tell him if yoose cooked dried beans). |

I making stew right now and he got into the meat before I added the veggies. |
