Default I went OUT for dinner, with my former housemate Kirtee!

We had fun, she had come by the house to pick up a License Plate mailed to her as I was dropping by the house after going to the Overlands MO Steak-n-Shake they put on KSDK.COM for my dinner:

https://www.ksdk.com/video/life/food...8-dcf723485690

but it was TOO BUSY because of the publicity! So we went to Fork-N-Stix in the Delmar Loop area, near Skinker-DeBaliviere where I used to live! Had some great Thai food too!Â*YUM!

I'd rather have been out to dinner with April! :-)

Ah, score one for the gipper! I'm counting on you, Anaki.

I've never heard of a steakburger, or Steak'n Shake, or Fork & Stix. Such things do not exist on this rock. The good news is that Chick-fil-A is landing here! I'm not a chicken eatin' kind of guy but this restaurant's reputation precedes it. I'm not sure that I can stand this kind of excitement!

Boycotting if successful hurts the innocent. The people that work there are also targeted.

Is there a difference (to the workers) whether I avoid it because of politics
or because I don't like fast food?

Yes. Boycotting is intentionally harmful, whereas not so with not going to a place where one doesn't like the food.

I've never heard of steakburger, must be a regional joint but we do have
Steak 'n Shake here as well as Chick-fil-A and both are quite good.

Boycotting can be counter productive. In many cases where a place is
boycotted because a comment or incident surrounding a particular issue
it sometimes provides a lot of free exposure so it is like free
advertising. A lot of people will not care about the issue, so they get
the exposure to a large number of apathetic potential customers. Then
there are those who will go out of their way to patronize the target of
the boycott.

Sometimes the complaints and attempted boycotts are based on BS. A
couple years ago there was a guy who was whining that he had been fired
from $tarbucks because he is guy. I am not likely to boycott a
franchise over the actions of one staff member or one manager, and
especially not in that case because my experience with $tarbucks led me
to think that being *** might be a requirement for employment with them.

Steakburger is a burger that made from steak and my guess is that restaurants are able to charge more for these things. Evidently you can make these at home but I won't be partaking because large gobs of meat make me nauseous..

My guess is most restaurants are run by homophobe assholes. I prefer to not complicate my life by boycotting on a whim. Don't ask, don't tell, is my policy as far as restaurant ownership goes.

The word you want is nauseated... a nauseous person is one who
nauseates others.

Gus Belt started Steak-n-Shake with the motto "in sight, it must be right" because he used to bring in barrels of steaks and grind then right behind the counter so customers could SEE exactly what meats were being ground to make their burgers, hence the name Steakburgers!

Who gives a rat's behind, far better to be negated by fools like you
than to be extremely unecucated like you. You are one of the most
uneducated posters here. I doubt you ever graduated from High
School... I doubt there are High Schools in ukelale land

I would never take grammar, spelling, or composition advice from the likes of yoose - for reasons that should be obvious.
