My friend just posted a recipe for this on Facebook. I looked at recipes and
there are quite as variety. Looks very forgiving. You start with some kind of ground meat or shrimp, then add veggies. The most simple would be a bag of coleslaw mix but other things could be added. The seasoning is always soy sauce and garlic but there are variations like ginger, turmeric, red pepper flakes, even sweet and sour sauce. Sliced green onions are added at the end plus some kind of cooked noodle. Rice stick seems to be the most common, but I've also seen recipes with spaghetti or no pasta for low carb. Something with crunch is usually added at the end too. Such as fried, crumbled won ton or egg roll wrappers, sesame seeds or chopped nuts. Cook/prep time is approx. 30 minutes. Looks like a winner! I plan to make this soon! |
