I'd only heard of two of them, I think.

(And MY grandmother didn't cook. Except maybe boiled potatoes.)

I've heard of a few of them but my grandmother never made a single one of these
dishes.

Where do they get this stuff from? My grandmas never made any of this stuff.
Neither did my mom. I made Buckeyes once. Too sweet for my taste.

I doubt that I would ever make Tater Tots. I buy them once in a while.
Usually when they are cheap or free. I did get a big bag at Costco once.

My grandmother made scalloped potatoes from a box. Other than that, she
never made any of those things.

I agree with Janet B: We're the grandmothers they're talking about. Not,
you know, that most of those dishes are particularly Midwestern or that
respectable foodies like us would make some of that crap.

Heh. No. But I'm old enough to have a 20-year-old grandchild.

high school.

I never heard of making tater tots until Pioneer Woman made them
recently. Most of those dishes represent far more recent tastes. But
I suspect the writers of these articles are on their first jobs or
maybe a summer intern because the articles are always ridiculous.
