I learned ONE thing! Toast the bread OPEN RACK first! I make a little aluminum foil tray to hold them together, and if the Asiago Cheese bread is toasted first, it has a lot more physical support for picking the slices up and eating them! And YES they are delicious! YUM!! And the tomato and basil were freshly picked!

this reminds me of a tomato sandwich recipe I got way back when

1. slice tomatoes - preferably ripe from your garden
2. season tomatoes with pepper
3. make sandwich and eat over the sink

or something like that
