Default Great Value Rising Crust Pizza

This is the Walmart brand, frozen pizza. I tried the cheese pizza. I did
doctor it a bit but I always doctor frozen pizza. Added a bit of Feta and a
sprinkle of Italian seasonings. Yum!

Last week, I made the Supreme for Angela. She said it wasn't bad but the
crust was a bit doughy.

This week she wanted to try the Pepperoni. I doctored hers with a bit of
cheddar and the Italian seasoning. The bake time said 20-22 min. at 400
degrees. I usually set my oven 5-15 degrees hotter than is called for as
that seems to work best. I baked hers for 24 min. this time. She said it was
perfect!

At $2.78 per pizza, this can't be beat!

Does the gardener like it? After all, he runs the place.

Just a wild guess, but your oven is probably not calibrated. Get Pedro to
check it out.

Maybe try placing the pizza one shelf lower in the oven. That should
cook the crust crispier. But if adding a couple of minutes to the
bake works, continue to do so.
Good to know about the Great Value pizza.

He can't have it as it's not gluten free. I got Udi's for him. He ate it
all.

I did have it on the upper rack as it's easier for me to deal with.

Pedro is the gardener Joan dreams of. He carries a gun on either side

Check the demographics. The typical shopper at WalMart is a 50 year old
woman with an income over $53.000/

A family of four is considered poor if income is less than $25k.

It has nothing to do with poor people shopping there; you'll be there soon
enough. But, they stock the same brands as national and regional chains
and like the big chain stores, they have their own house brand as well.

Since he claims he doesn't shop at Wally World I want to know why he thinks
the people who shop there are poor?

when I used to get my prescriptions there I discovered that not only
are their Great Value eggs, cottage cheese and sour cream much, much
cheaper than elsewhere but they are better and fresher. They also
carry a fresh horseradish which is difficult for me to find.
Why would I want to be so foolish as to pay a dollar more per each of
those items just to keep someone like whats-his-name happy?
They also stock gardening supplies earlier than other places, just
when I am starting my seeds indoors and need various things.

The upper rack will cook the toppings before the crust is done. The
middle rack is where the most even heat generally is. If you want
more browning on the bottom you put the item on the bottom rack. But,
as I said, whatever works for you.

Walmart is my go to store now for most thing. If I want really good meat,
I'll go to a specialty market. For bulk stuff and most canned goods, Winco.
Walmart has cheaper prices on produce, pet food, milk, cheese and frozen
foods. I am careful what meat I buy there.

Poor people shop everywhere. Often they have no good means of transportation
and must shop at whatever store is close to them.

When Angela was little, I bought most of her clothes there. They make sell
great kids clothes and have good prices on staples like Hanes. You do have
to be careful with their clothes online though. They sell a lot of imported
Asian crap now but then so does Amazon.

I like their cottage cheese but Winco sells Alpenrose. It's cheaper and less
runny. I prefer it but they are the only store that sells it. If I can't get
to Winco, I'll buy the Great Value with pineapple. It's good. Darigold milk
is also cheaper at Walmart. To me, milk is milk. But then I only use a very
little in cooking. My gardener prefers the Darigold, but he drinks it
straight up.

Thanks! Tonight will be Winco boxed mac and cheese. It's fine for boxed. I
prefer the scratch kind but this is what she wants.

That is true and some stores are getting a lot of crap about it. Dollar
General has a lot of stores in low income areas and they can be walked
to but since they don't have a lot of fresh produce some do-good people
think they should be closed down. Supermarket would go there if they
could make a profit in those places, but they can't.

I don't care as much for the dryer cottage cheese and that is why I
like the Great Value product because it is much creamier. I don't
believe I have seen Alpenrose here. I will get whatever house brand
milk is available at the time -- Walmart, Winco or Albertsons.

Nope. We eat healthy food. He does smoke pot. Pot legal here. I don't use it
but I know plenty of people who do, including my mom.

I think it's based in Oregon. I first got it from Smith Brother's Dairy.
Trader Joes sells their milk but not the cottage cheese.
