Because evidently Indians (people from India!) can't clean up their Kitchen Messes!
Once again *I* had to clean out the Microwave before I could even warm up my first Cuppa Plus! Because as I was going to put my cup IN the microwave I could SMELL the results of the last thing cooked: Oatmeal w/fresh strawberries! :-( And we HAVE a Microwave Cover, a gift from a unsuitable housemate from 2017. She moved out and left it for us! Now all I have to do is get people to USE IT! John Kuthe, Climate Anarchist and Cleaner Of OUR Kitchen! |

He could smell oatmeal with fresh strawberries... well that's certainly an abomination! LOL I have no idea what a microwave cover is but I'm pretty sure it doesn't automatically clean the microwave. Couldn't even heat up his instant coffee. Gee, I feel so bad for him. (for those who don't recognize it, that was sarcasm). Jill |

Given that, you clearly expect too much from your human tenants. They obviously don't think of it as "our kitchen" but as "your kitchen". Cindy Hamilton |

It is NOT a BOARDING HOUSE, it is a Shared International Student Living house! We Share THIS HOUSE!! We all LIVE in this house, and share the expenses of living IN a house very close to UMSL. 5min walk to UMSL main campus, 5min walk to the South UMSL Metrolink station, and a 5min drive to/from the STL International Airport. We are HOUSEMATES, not Roommates! John Kuthe... |

No, you run a dirty and sleezy BOARDING HOUSE... In my university town these sorts of dwellings are long - banned, as they are considered S-L-U-M-S...life has moved on from the 1930's - 60's era of "shared student living" aka "boarding houses"... Your students (and Y-O-U) are obviously poverty - stricken as they can afford no better, even in a CHEEP rental market such as STL... Boarding house - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boarding_House A boarding house is a house (frequently a family home) in which lodgers rent one or more rooms for one or more nights, and sometimes for extended periods of weeks, months, and years. The common parts of the house are maintained, and some services, such as laundry and cleaning, may be supplied. You're always flapping your jaws about how wealthy you are, how rich you are, all the money you have, blah, blah, blah. Why don't you just hire a maid to come in and clean after the brown people? Problem solved! |

> Sounds good but evidently they think you are the cleaning lady. Mine cleans the microwave for me every visit. I think it is time to have a "mom" talk with them about sharing. |

Nahh, a big part of being an adult is being your own "mom". And they all generally clean up after themselves really well, and when I see them doing it I thank them! John Kuthe... |

We have this 1/4" thick tile kitchen floor with 1/4" grout that was filthy when I moved in in 2016 and still IS in many areas. Oven Cleaner is on my shopping list now! I wanna clean MORE! Because I am damned good at it! I might as well do something good for the house while I'm waiting for my Mr Handyman subcontractor, Oct 8. A thing I kinda need to be here for! John Kuthe... |

JK, do you use mop n glo in the oven?
They make a nice grout paint. It will not paint the smooth tiles so you can paint quick and not worry about getting it on the tiles. Paint, let dry then wipe overpaint on tiles with a damp sponge. |
