What does your French Onion Soup look like? I'd bet the soups are
similar and yours simply isn't covered with a lot of melted cheese.

Right usually just a more regular scattering of shredded cheese.

They all look good. I like an egg sandwich some day, usually make them
on English muffin because it is readily available.

I had a sausage, egg & cheese sandwich on an English muffin but my egg was
scrambled.

A few days ago I made the mistake of having a farmer's breakfast wrap at
Tim Hortons. It was a major disappointment. It was a wrap with a layer
of rubber scrambled eggs, two small pieces of bacon, some cheese that
had had all the flavour melted out of it, and a chunk of hash browns.
There was a slightly spicy sauce that wasn't too bad.

I seldom go there. I was on my way to pickleball. The Y is behind
Hortons and there isn't much else in Port Colborne. The coffee was as
bad as every. I really don't understand place's popularity. People walk
around with a Timmy's in their hand like it is an engagement ring they
are showing off

People seem to think that the line-ups are a sign of popularity. But
they are the result of the pitiful service.

Bread of some sort with a ton of melted cheese on top.

I have to say that they are popular and they do pump a lot of customers
through quickly. Some are notoriously slow. I worked on the road for a
while and went to Hortons a lot, but that was before their product
quality dropped to its current level. I remember that one was
notoriously slow.

My wife can't understand why they are getting rid of seating and pushing
drive thru. I think it is easy enough to explain. They can use a smaller
building. They don't need tables or the room to put them. They don't
need to have staff cleaning tables and floors. They don't need to spend
time cleaning washrooms. They don't need a parking lot for the cars of
the eat in customers. They just have the cars line up around the
building and pump them through for maximum income with minimum effort.

Saw a funny "Candid Camera" episode years ago. Small restaurant,
had no drive thru thing. They set up a drive-thru order place on
the side though with speaker and microphone.

People would give their orders and be told, "That will be $$$.
Drive around to the pickup window."

So the people would drive around but there was no pickup window.
All were confused and some actually drove around the building 2
or 3 times or so before going inside. funny

Naw, I think that's another thin slice of ham. You're seeing the
