A diet to follow between the first of December to 31 December.

Yesterday we were watching someone baking on FoodTV and pondering the fact that when fat and sugar were scarce, Christmas baking had real meaning. Nowadays when we can have anything we want at any time, the whole thing seems pointless except for nostalgia. We'll be exercising our nostalgia on or about my husband's birthday, when he'll bake his family's cheesecake. I'm hoping to avoid our usual batch of chocolate chip cookies, but he might outvote me.
