Default First dinner of 2020

Maybe the best part was that I hardly had to lift a finger. We had a
stuffed pork tenderloin, My job was to trim off the silverskin,
butterfly it and pound it out. My wife looked after stuffing it and we
had it with baked potato, peas and salad. It was a nice way to start
off the new year.

My first dinner was a dead spread at the funeral home. Everything was very
good but the baked spaghetti was outstanding as was the banana bread and
peanut clusters. Green beans with potatoes were darn tasty, too.

The Filipinos know how to do one of those. We went to a service for a co-worker and it was certainly impressive. We had to leave early but I managed to get a plate of sweets before we left.

It's spaghetti for a new age of food service. I've been seeing it around these days. It's served up in portioned squares. It's pretty wild but there's no need to flip your wig.

Dinner for three of us. I made a boneless pork roast. Butterflied,
seasoned with garlic, herbs, provolone cheese, rolled and tied, Roasted
along with it a tray of russet and sweet potatoes. Carrots with a
glaze with blood orange liquor. Big bottle of Woodbridge Chardonnay.

I think it's a good idea to put some cheese on top so you can know how the spaghetti is portioned out.

That sounds really good. My first meal was at my mother's house. New
Year's day was my late father's birthday so we visited his grave first,
then returned to have a marvelous salad, sausage meat loaf, and steamed
green beans.

I returned home in the evening and my spouse wanted Sushi for birthday
(yes we have two birthdays on 1/1). We will have birthday cupcakes in a
while.

I'm considering busting out a cigar and enjoying it in this cold, winter
evening. Ninety minutes to go to end the holiday.

Default First dinner of 2020

My first meal of 2020 was a late lunch then a smaller repeat
of the same for a late dinner:

- Ham with raisin sauce
- regular potato nuked and cut up well
- sweet potato
- lots of peas
- the traditional slice of bread and butter

Maybe she made a typo. Since 2 and 1 are adjacent on the keyboard, it's
easy to hit one when you meant the other.
