Default PEE SOUP

I'm all ready to cook pee soup tomorrow, got 5 pounds of split pees
and all the ingredients out and ready to go in my 24 quart pot, got a
meaty ham bone too.

Pea soup always sounds good, but every time I've tried it, YUCK!

Too late for changes as it's almost all ready to eat, plus I don't
like boiled sweet potatoes, I do like them baked in their jackets.
Besides the green splitpees I found a one pound bag of yellow split
pees and added that too.
My soups take little freezer space because I prepare a condensed
version, like Campbells does, when heating I add water to suit. It
already smells good in here, but I need to make a run into town to buy
broccoli crowns to go with tonight's steak, and get a garlic bulb and
a two pound bag of lemons, and whatever else jumps out at me.... also
will check my POB.
I almost always set out everything I need to cook the night before...
so I can get started early so I can use the day for other things.
